1. Golf improves physical fitness

Golf is a brilliant way to increase your daily physical activity. A full round of golf, which can comprise up to 18 holes, involves a lot of walking around the course and chasing the ball. Combined with the swings and body movements involved, this strengthens heart health, supports weight management and improves muscle tone. Although the sport is a low-intensity form of exercise, it is highly effective and suitable for players of all ages. For older people, just one round a week exceeds the recommended levels of physical activity.

2. Improves concentration

3. Social relationships

Golf is a highly communal sport, in which a sense of community is an important part of the culture of the game. It offers a great opportunity to meet new people or spend time with family and friends. Playing rounds together allows you to share experiences and learn from other players. Social interaction on the golf course promotes general well-being and can lead to lasting friendships.

4. Reduces stress

The golf course offers a peaceful environment that promotes peace of mind and reduces stress. The sport acts as a kind of meditative exercise, allowing you to take a short break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and helping you to recharge mentally.

5. A lifelong hobby

Golf is a sport you can play throughout your life. It adapts to your skill level and physical fitness, making it an excellent choice for the long term. Golf not only promotes physical activity, but also offers a constant opportunity to develop yourself and improve your skills.
